KIDS in the GAME is PHIT America’s official partner offering and delivering financial assistance and other support to community based sports and physical education programs throughout the USA.
When supporters donate to PHIT America, a majority of the funds will go to KIDS in the GAME. We then distribute funding to youth sports programs and PE programs based on the community need.
About PHIT America
PHIT America is a new, year-round, nationwide social media and marketing campaign which will engage 40-60 million Americans to create “A Movement for a Fit America.” This initiative supports the Personal Health Investment Today Act, HR2649 and is designed to combat the obesity crisis and simultaneously help drive down healthcare costs by proactively promoting the importance of physical fitness and active lifestyles.
The PHIT Act is legislation pending in Congress which will allow Americans to use Pre-Tax Medical Accounts to pay for physical activity expenses. The PHIT Act would encourage healthier lifestyles by reducing the costs of physical activity. Adults and their kids will receive an incentive to help Americans get fit which will help prevent healthcare costs related to the obesity and sedentary crisis.
