Fun, fitness oriented, and free.

Those were the cornerstones of the NBAFit instructional event that took place at the Jackie Robinson Family YMCA this past Wednesday, May 27th, 2015, as a result of the 62nd Annual Meeting of the American College of Sports Medicine.

All the activities facilitated by Frank Lopez, Lead Clinician for NBA/WNBA Fit, were tailored towards basketball and provided key fitness skills that can be applied to all sports.  It is evident that the kids enjoyed it.

While the kids had their fun, parents were invited to attend a Q&A with Felicia Stoler, a certified health and fitness professional regarding healthy lifestyle choices.

KIDS in the GAME with partner ACTIVE Network provided each participant with a $25 KIDS in the GAME Pass for future activities of their choice.  The Pass allows kids to sample various physical activities to discover what they enjoy while alleviating financial pressure!

We are grateful for the American College of Sports Medicine for providing such a generous and thoughtful event to families!
